email me: hello[at]pittelsbookclub [dot] com

I’m Elizabeth, a contemporary romance and pop fiction author obsessed with the zeitgeist, so it’s no surprise that I’m drawn to writing stories that examine fame, parasocial relationships, and how we consume celebrity. I write about rock stars and influencers, football players and movie stars.

My current project is Strings Attached, a contemporary rock star romance about a journalist who goes on a year-long tour with a band she hates.

With a Master’s degree in English from East Carolina University, I’m also a writer for Duke University, where I write human interest stories about faculty and students.

If I’m not writing, I’m probably reading, or wrangling my two kiddos. If I’m not doing any of that, I’m probably napping.

I’m represented by Morgan Strehlow at The Bindery Agency, so contact me or Morgan if you’re an editor who is interested in reading!

Other Projects:

  • Blind Item (rom-com, complete): Two rival PR professionals put their high-profile Hollywood clients in a fake relationship, but the real challenge is figuring out how to stop the chemistry between the two of them.

  • Wildest Dreams (speculative romance, complete): When a Midwestern woman realizes whatever she dreams comes true for an NFL player in LA, she must cross the country and figure out how to cut the thread between them before it ruins both of their lives.

  • Devils Roll the Dice (commercial, drafting): Four millennial moms end up in the caper of a lifetime when one of them goes missing on their girl’s trip

  • Unnamed Midwestern Gothic Horror (drafting): A writer whose life is falling apart returns to her grandmother’s farm only to discover sinister forces are at play

  • The Lucky One (romance, in edits): A 10-year saga between a former child star looking to prove herself and the deer hunting guide she met while filming in rural Wisconsin
